Promaster Flash

I have a Promaster FTD 5500 flash with a PX Module that I used with a Pentax ZX-50. Can I use that flash and adapter on a K-x?

I think the ZX50 only supports TTL flash, not P-TTL. Your flash therfore won't work in P-TTL mode if the module is designed for TTL mode. If the flash has some other auto modes they might be usable though and you can always fire it at full power and use the guide number to calculate the required aperture.

OK, thanks. I'll just use the guide number when the built in flash is inadequate.
