One of the most noticeable things with a macro lens is how many of the worlds tiny things are bound together with cobweb remnants. Spiders it seems are the masters of ruin, their sticky structures still function well after their own demise.

Fz100 with b+w uv haze filter and Canon 250d close-up lens. Single jpgs post processed. Thanks for looking. :)

Interesting and stimulating images as ever Digby. Spider web does seem to hang around for sometime. The long period of freezing weather, here in the UK, made visible webs and remanents of webs covered in frost, the trees were festooned with them.

Thanks you windmillgilfer. :D Trees “festooned” with webs covered with frost sounds a fascinating sight. So many of the common things from when I was a boy have gone, most images are of the unusual rather than the everyday, so much of our worlds visual language both past and present is lost.
