I recently purchased a s45 and noticed a faint rattling noise when the camera is shaken. The shop owner found the same on the s30.

I was wondering if any other users found this problem or if it was the norm. In either case I am not fond of the rattling noise - camera appears to be working fine.

Cheers,
Chi-Hoong.

Yes, it rattles,
my Kodak DX3700 rattles
my Contax T3 rattles
and my exNikon 35Ti rattles (which the buyer pointed out to me)
His Contax T2 rattled too...
they all rattle :-)

Hmmm...my film camera doesn't rattle..maybe it is a digital thing...any idea what is causing the rattling noise? stray capacitor? :-)

The Contax T3, Contax T2 and Nikon 35Ti
ARE film cameras :-)
