International Extended Warranty that isn't Mack?

Hi,

Can anyone recommend an extended warranty/service plan that works internationally?

I don't usually buy these, but having recently bought a relatively expensive camera, I'm looking for some peace of mind... I am currently in the US, but will be moving back to the UK at the end of next year, so I'd prefer one that would allow me to take the camera to a local repair centre rather than send it back to the US.

I was considering the Mack ones, which look good in theory, but from reading the reviews it seems that they may be more hassle than they are worth... I've seen mention of Sagemax, but couldn't find much info on them. I did buy it with Amex, but I don't think their warranty would apply outside the US (although I could be mistaken).

OK, so I'm going to answer my own question, just in case anyone else is interested...

I e-mailed SquareTrade and received a very prompt reply saying that I would be able to purchase one of their warranties here in the States and still use it when I get to the UK, with a similar arrangement to the one used by Mack (i.e. take it to a local authorised repair centre, get a quote, send the quote to SquareTrade for approval, pay for the work and receive a refund via PayPal). I've decided to go with that option, just as soon as I can decide whether I want to get accidental damage cover from them too!
