AA battery holder

That's what I want. Good price at $4.75 for 6, but shipping costs more than the holders at $5.50 (fixed rate). If I ever order something else from them, or find someone else local who wants to order something, I'll definately get the battery holders.

If anyone orders them, please let us know if they are more durable than the 2-cell holders from Thomas. Some of my 2-cell holders are already cracked.

They look to be identical to the ones I got when I ordered the 401. Holds 4 batteries and seem a bit more sturdy than the 2 piece holders that Thomas was giving out.

I ordered these cases (pictured as individual cases holding four batts) then went back to the sight a few minutes later... and the pic had been changed! I was a bit spooked by this, as the new pic looked like a large case that would hold twelve (or more) batteries. I thought they had run out and were substituting, so I called 'em found out that there's no problem...

The had changed the pic to show six of the cases shrink-wrapped as they would ship. I told him (it was obvious) that I found the new pic confusing at the very least. He stated that he would change back to the earlier pic.

Anyone who viewed the site during that time and was confused...take another look.

Maybe some of the folks in the Yahoo dcphotogs group might be interested too?

They look like they're hard plastic -- the kind that will crack with bumps and bruises vs the "foggy" soft plastic than is more flexible which I'd prefer. But at that price - what the heck.

Cool. I might order two sets, but I haven't decided. We'll have to make ordering arrangements. I'll ask other people I know if they want us to order them any.

Is the Yahoo DCPhotogs group still in existence? The original group I joined dissapeared a long time ago.

Have you guys seen the nylon battery holders? They hold 4 AA batteries with a belt loop and have a velcro flap on them I think they are $4 each I saw them in the Storage forum here ...

The same site (GreenBatteries) also has the nylon holders. So you can order both types at the same time.
