Beautiful shots, Dez. I really like the second one. For me, it's like a commentary on pollution - there are dangerous fumes emanating from those Con Ed smokestacks. I also like how in that one, the buildings are nicely reflected in the water. Its my favorite time of day for photography.

I also like the first one too for the way you chose which part of the skyline to capture (without the smokestacks).

I enjoyed looking!

LX5 does well in your hands as usual... Great pictures...Very good composition.
 
Beautiful images. I love the lighting. One thing that is always evident in your images is the fact that the lighting is always right on, which makes the image a work of art.

Thank you. No fishing or eating fish from there.

The signs are there to keep people out of the water, since the river is known to have sewer outfalls.
