Not camera shy. shot with the 505V and HVL-F1000. Flash bounced off the ceiling in auto/macro mode.

I gather from the martini glass with olive next to this creature that it must be a house pet. What kind of people buy Sony digicams anyway?
Just kidding...a dramatic shot!

Ken ... while at the pet store I saw the Iguana and thought is was a prop as it was on a display. I touched it and it didn't move, however it's skin felt like leather. One of the store workers came over and put it on my arm and it started to move it's eyes and tail. I guess they are slow movers when resting.

I couldn't ask for a more perfect subject as it stayed very still for the camera. greg.
How did you get the iguana to sit still for the action shot???

Greg,

Iguana's make good stationary subjects, and they are colorful. I had one a few years ago before I got married. Nice picture, the colors look great!

In my prior post, I was also joking a bit about action shots. I own a S70 and have taken plenty of them, contrary to what many people are saying about the focus lock (I have tried many digital cameras, they all take up to a second to lock the subject). It just takes a bit of practice and timing.

Good luck taking pictures with the 505v. It is an awesome camera.

Ken ... thanks for the feedback. I know your were joking, check out the parrot that also posed for me in the same store. greg.
