NYC Skyline @ Dusk

Merged frames taken from a new waterfront park in Brooklyn and from another closed area around dusk. LX5.
Merged? As in stitch, or exposure blend? (What about exposure specs?)

Stunning, all the same, Dez. The sheen on the water is especially nice in these compositions. And all the nicer, for being relatively new "new views" of the Big Apple. This wasn't from this past Sunday evening, was it?

Merged as exposure blend and yes, this was from this past Saturday evening.

The exif is embedded in each photo. Not sure if you have exif viewer & right-click on each. If not, here's the info. 3-frame auto bracket at 2.0 EV:

1. 1/2sec at f/6.3
2. 1/15sec at f/4
3. 1/2sec at f/6.3
4. 1/15sec at f/4

Thanks :D

Novel views of Manhattan. But I don't think I will go swimming in the East river. Don't need the warning. :)

Very attractive images. First one is my favourite. I like the glassy sheen and light.

Panasonic should make a contribution or provide a competition prize for the forum, which must be helping their sales globally. Certainly works form me, I know Santa has an LX5 in his bag for me :)

Very good indeed Dez.

I'd like to see the second without the sign in to the water and the lower part cropped off.

Something like this, but not as much cropping as I've done, but I like the calmness of the water compared to the section below it.

You get the general idea.

Fantastic skylines! I am also looking down and liking the detail from the beach. These are better than all of the postcards I have of New York.
