Fog on the lake - 4 IMG

That first image is very nice, my favorite. Love the reflection and the overall presentation. Like the fact there is a flying duck among the trees as well...the blown highlight in the middle is a little distracting. Overall an enjoyable image.

Very nice Kees.

Very nice!

I like #1 best. For 2 reasons - 1. the colour treatment, and 2. the duck is in the best position compositionally.

I would have liked to have been stood there!

Cheers,

Rod

For me #1 and 3 are great but I don't like the blown sun in the wider shots. I like the flying bird in #3 - it justs adds a little extra to the composition - but I slightly prefer the colour in #1. One tiny criticism - I'd clone out the stray braches at the extreme right hand border of both shots.

I too like the first one the best. The bright areas a bit too bright I suppose but a very serene and well composed image.

Perhaps call it "Smoke on the Water" instead of fog on the lake,

Only kidding,

Pete

I like the general feel, especially in the first image.
The contrails really disturb the scene though and draw my eye upwards.

thanks for posting

Beautiful shots, # 1 is my favorite.

I love those cold foggy mornings, great time for photography, you have to act quickly because the fog and light are changing rapidly.
