S2 in panorama mode

Very nice Karl,

Love the composition. Please post some more when you do them.

Happy shooting

As always, Karl, I'm simply amazed at the beauty of your shots. The beach shot is particularly nice. I usually don't like people in my pictures, but I think in that shot it works very well. Thanks soooo much for sharing.

Hello Karl,

You have some stunning images there! I was wondering about the infrared-looking image of the tree, located in the lansdcape section. Did you shoot this with an IR filter, or did you do the effect in PS? If you used a filter, I'm curious as to which one you used.

Again, the pictures are all stunning. I especially appreciate the differences in color tone from picture to picture. Some are very saturated, other quite muted, and then you have the B/Ws. All beautiful.

Hi Matthew

Thanks for your kind words. The shot was taken without a filter. In PS I tweaked curves and added a bit of saturation after overlaying the two images side by side overlapped by 30% to get the vista ( used eraser to blend layers ) The S2 did the rest

Karl, did you stich the panorama, if so which software, or is it a
crop? S2 panorama mode implies in-camera feature, how does that
work? Not got my S2 yet!

Steve
Hi Steve

My apologies if I misled you, the S2 does not have a panorama feature. As I mentioned I simply overlayed two images on one canvas ( without the use of a stitching programme ) and blended them. With the S2 this makes a very large file though, but far better than losing resolution through cropping.
Hope you get your S2 soon - you won't look back.
Karl
