We braved the snow chaos (traffic totally jammed north of here for
many hours on the highway) and got to the other end of town,
where my favourite camera shop is, and there awaited my K-5!

Brought it to work, and late into the night, after the snow on the
ground had started to melt, I took this photo through the windscreen
of my bus - it is still snowing (DA40, ISO 12800, no editing whatsoever):

Pretty darn pleased! The wife, who's into PENs, Sonys & LUMIXes,
got to impressed that she decided she wants one, and a FA77!

Can't fault her choice!

PS I'll pay for the lens, and she for the K-5!

My wife also wants her own K5, she has a D90 which she is selling along with her lens collection.

To hold one is to want one.

The high ISO performance and the weather sealing of the K5 make it irresistible.

Inclined to agree with you there!

Weather sealing is a big deal to me, the reason I bought the E-1 back in 04, and the Pentax is looking very attractive.

Tord I wrongly thought you were trolling after your first post but it seems you are Pentax's best customer - 2 k5s!

Many for whom we think trolling on PTF may end up buying K-5. Day by day it is getting irresistible.
