I just purchased a new black G2 and would like suggestions on the size lens adaptor to purchase. I have seen 49mm, 52 mm, and 58 mm. Want to add a UV filter ASAP and possibly wide angle and telephoto lenses. Any suggestions on size and brand would be greatly appreciated.

G2 Lens Adaptor

Hey...
I myself am looking for a tube adapter and filters and so far my research has led me to conclude that if you're only planning to use filters, then the size of the tube adapter is totally up to you regarding how much of the viewfinder is visible (the larger the adapter the less you see in the viewfinder...plus flash is affected) since you can find filters that fit most if not all of the 3 tube sizes.
If you're planning to use other lenses and so on, then the better route to go is the 58mm.

I bought a Lensmate shortly after purchasing my G2 last December. Best after market purchase I've made for my camera. I hold my camera a lot by the tube as I did with my 35mm SLR lens. Lensmate makes a good product and the people are very helpful and nice. A real plus when dealing on the internet.

I too have been looking for a black lens adapter and already have an assortment of 52mm stuff that I had used with my silver Kenko adapter. I wanted a black 52mm adapter and there is a choice.
