>>>>>Olympus Challenge #144-Doors<<<<<<

Now I should have more time to enjoy my own theme! Trust me I've been checking in and seeing all the great shots rolling in. I also left some comments in the exhibition gallery. I need to go start up a roast but, later tonight I hope to have a better look at the comp gallery too!

Weeeee!

Going to painting is another way to go mirrorless, so we are damned anyway LOL.

I HATE printers. When you finally achieved to put them working on your computer, and you learned how to get hardly good copies of your photos, the OS changes, or drivers doesn't work anymore, or I don't know what, but all the damn system goes mad. So I don't print at home, and I do it as few as possible at work, thanks.

Anyway, don't worry: I don't think your printed could fry your computer. Maybe break the OS yes, but I'm not a specialist in this...

My cousin went to a painting class for the first time and received a list of materials costing over $150. She went to the instructor to complain and the instructor quietly gave her an address to buy from. It ended costing only $50.

I was never a DSLR guy and was glad the PEN series came out. However my eyesight has got worse and I need to hold the e-pl1 at full arm's length to see the screen clearly. It is the most expensive camera I have ever bought and I think it will be the first one that will break on me. I find it cheaply built and can feel some buttons getting soft.

to enter a shot in the comp gallery myself. You all are so great! I've loved all the entries thus far and we're on the last weekend. So, if you haven't managed to yet, hope you find a door to your liking and enter it!

I had a few opportunities to go out shooting in the last week + and selfishly spent them in the woods. Last night my daughter was home so I was able to take off and do some night shots - hopefully I got one or two doors as well.

The galleries look great!

were you in the woods during that wind though? That would be scary, even in this little bit of wooded area in front of our house, the wind just howled and a few trees (dead already) took a fall. It sure was some great wind noise for Halloween. I hope you made the best out of the fantastic warm October weather we had. Even today it is pretty nice.

Welcome back!

a 3rd one into comp. I apologize for not being around much, but our son is back in the hospital :(. He has vastly improved since he went into the emergy room and we expect him to be out of the ICU on Monday. We're already breathing easier.

Went out to an abandoned cottage with my partner in crime for the day, the very lovely and talented Ella-Mae.

Rather than doing the obvious Halloween stuff, we were looking at nursery rhymes and children’s stories, so I’ve used a couple of the shots that actually have doors in them of one sort or another!

And yes, Ella did eat the gingerbread man!!

I will show you one I got between costume changes. I'll post more later. I gotta go watch football!

. he is going to be easily able to watch himself grow up in photos,, you and I have some snap shots which we could scan of ourselves, but this guy is going to have the digital slide show, of development,,,, of course it does not mean he wants to show his girl friend, a picture of him in diapers, that Grammie Shirley took of him...
