Since you are THERE, see if you can find that beer that has a
slight "clove" tang to it and tell me what the name of it is.
Great stuff. I don't even know if it makes it to the US but if
it does, and you find it, I'll look for it here.

Ahh, Muenchen.

Hi Peter,

come over to Munich for the Oktoberfest (in about 2 months time) where you'll get pissed out of your head and won't bother what beer you're drinking.... It's the only way besides ;-) hick

It ceases to amaze me how most of the discussions about "which camera is
best" seem to always focus on the image detail. There are SO many other
aspects of a camera to weigh aside from the image detail, heck, aside
from the image quality in general!
Excuse me for sounding stupid, but isn't the whole purpose of a camera supposed to be to record an IMAGE??? If you want a toy to play with, try Toys R Us; you can probably amuse yourself for a lot less money. As for me, if the quality, color and detail of a recorded image are not there, I'd just as soon not waste my money!

I am not sure how you determine that the RDC-7 wins since:

"Das Objektiv von Carl Zeiss scheint eine gute Wahl gewesen zu sein, zeichnet sich doch die DSC-S70 durch die beste optische Wiedergabequalität aus."

seems to imply that the image quality of the Sony's Zeiss lens gives the best image quality.

Canon S20
Fuji Finepix 4700Z
JVC-X1
Nikon Coolpix 990
Olympus C-3030Z
Ricoh RDC-7
Sony DSC-S70

It must all be in the eye of the beholder! Since I do not understand German, I only had the photographs to judge by; personally, I thought the Nikon was the best representation of the image!
