I dont post a whole lot here but I like to read and see others photos. Im always looking for inspiration and lots of great people post their work.
Every now and then I get an original idea of my own. I hadnt seen anything like this before anyway.
My family and I took a trip to England to see my extended family (Mom, Dad, Grandmother, Sister, Niece). I was born there, came to the the US 10 years ago and have been here ever since. I took my K10D FA50, Sigma 10-20 and the kit 18-55 as a walkaround. After going around Leeds Castle I was showing the pictures to my Gran on her TV, and realized that if I hold down the > button to flip through the images in the camera it sort of made a stop motion movie. Thats what gave me this idea. From that point on I stopped deleting images that I might have otherwise discarded (glad I had plenty of Gb on the card!).
Got home and imported all of them (about 400 in all) into Windows Movie maker. All I had to do then was tinker with the slide durations, and transitions and upload to Youtube. None of the photos have had any PP done, just Jpegs straight out of the camera, some were taken with the intention of doing HDR or stitching but I just threw them all in - I think its interesting anyway. See for yourself:
