Love it just a little critique mix the fur tip of the nose with the rest they look separated but you done a brilliant job.

Thanks to all for looking and I appreciate the feedback.

Diane I will look at the nose etc but even on the original it is like that...however, might blend etc

Wow! It makes me wish I could smudge. I've tried and failed many times. Can't tell if it's my technique or lack of patience.

Very dramatic overall! I think the red below the ear really lifts the picture and, of course, the smudging.

Your smudge time is so much better spent than mine but I enjoyed having a dabble at it.

My thanks again to all...really appreciate the feedback...
Will take on board Gale's suggestion of getting Scott's dvd.

I have deliberately not done so yet as I was waiting for the portrait one which would be more useful to me.

I still have the online course from Scott but appreciate the dvd will be even better.

I wanted to try some new smudging on this and have for example used different layers with different modes to achieve lighter and darker areas in the fur.....always experimenting.
