Please use this suggestion for posting!

Jeff:

I could agree with this, but only if everyone posting was a porfessional writer. Let's face it, for the most part, we post/respond "off the cuff." Our comments are usually extemperanious and often meander a bit, trying to get our feelings out as fast as the synapses fire from the brain to the fingertips.

Editing posts to capture the relevent text only is often a serious challenge!

Frank (I understand the spirit of what youi're saying, just not the practicality, lol).
Frank
It really is not hard to copy the relevent text from the orginal
message before press Reply and then post it into response. That's
much less effort than having to delete the old message every time.

This is a direct quote from the webmaster:
"Please trim as much of the quoted (> ) message as possible
(anything that's not relevant
to your posting)".
If you don't already know how to do this, simply left click and
drag over the portion to be removed, then hit delete. The reason
for me posting this is that it becomes very tiresome to have to
wade through all the repeat, duplicate posts just to get to the new
posting at the bottom of the page. Saves bandwidth too ;
