Beautiful shot
Thank you so much for your kind words, I lived for 12 years in Quito and it was the first time that I shoot the city from that point. That is a beautiful image of a beautiful city! I have been to Quito, and I loved it; but this picture shows me a face of the city that is new to me.
Thank you!

It is very interesting the effect of the lights on the irregular geography of the city.Lovely, like red hot lava flowing down a mountain.

Quito is a great city for a photographer, so many things to shoot. What a beautiful city, I love all the detail especially that statue on top of the hill.
This would look amazing framed!
awesome!

Fantastic panos... I love the waterfalls..!!Iso, shutter, f-stop, stitching software, PP for noise if any.
Thanks!
I really like the shot. Nice to not white balance on the city lights - captured the visual perception nicely. Did you select the WB or is that how the camera did it?
(take a look at my sig - I love night panos, but haven't done them with Oly yet because typically mine are in much dimmer light - but not always)
Like a vision from an opera.

Maybe 5 minutes.Beautiful, really!
How much work was involved taking the multiple images, stitching and processing.
PTGui is a great tool, just select the pictures and the software makes everything for you.Break it down if you can, I would like a rough idea. How difficult is this to master?
Thank you, I'm glad that you like the picture. You result is beautiful!
