I have a Thinkpad T61 with a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M video card
I have now determined that just a good sRGB monitor is all I need. One with good sRGB color range and good for general use.
I am replacing an older BENQ 20 inch monitor.
I have narrowed it down to:
Dell U2311
HP ZR24W
NEC CEA231WMi
I would rather get a 24 inc h screen but a 23 is close.
Does manufacturer matter?
I am in China and will use the monitor in the far North of the country, so I need a reliable one. I cannot get it fixed there. I will get a Spider 3 Elite calibrator.
I was going to get a wide gamut monitor, but I have determined I have to get a good one. I can get the Dell U2410, but I have heard of many problems, and I guess I will mainly use sRGB.
Any commentts anybody?
