I am just getting into sports photography using my D3, and would like to see links to other peoples work, where I can also see the exif data to understand settings used under diferent conditions/sports. Also love to hear peoples comments/experiences on what they have experienced as being the optimal settings for different sports (mainly outdoor sports such as soccer, rugby, athletics).

Thanks

The best sports photog I know personally, runs a fantastic blog, markjrebilas.com/blog . He talks about his thought process and all the photos have EXIF

No that TC won't work with that lens, and no you're not getting that camera/lens at
that price.

Here is a link to my football photos from this season:

My galleries are ID'd "Photography by Ernie Anderson." (AP and another photographer occasionally post galleries there). I also do basketball galleries, so when we get into the season you can navigate through the site if you're interested. Feel free to ask questions about any photos you see.

Thanks to all posters who replied. I have been working my way through the link suggestions and tips. Thanks again. I am doing some soccer work this w/end. Will try suggestions and let you know how I get on.

Thanks again....

I'll be shooting a high school indoor swimming swimming meet - a first time for me. I would appreciate any general recommendations. Thanks. tom
