is high ISO on NX100 any better than the NX10?

I think the pictures in the following link were taken with the most recent firmware (contrary to the portrait that is attached in this thread).
What makes you think that firmware 1.00 is not the latest? (and the only)

This thread is about high ISO performance improvements in NX system. Not about old film photos, not about good DSLR and not about your occupation, sorry.
hehe.. perfect example of gear head ; ) well..we all have our hobbies.. if yours is photo gear than i am fine with that but i prefer to take photos = )

The portrait was said to have been taken by a pre-production NX100 given during Photokina, and "production" units are going to be sold to the public this Saturday (i.e., in three days) in Korea. So I assumed that the pictures in the link were taken with a more recent firmware (as the pictures were posted today). But, you are right, I might be assuming something incorrect.

Anyways, I was just wondering what the opinion on these pictures is because I couldn't tell if the pictures are really good or not (because of possible NR ON).

i have seen a smeary jpeg of a pavement. dont have the link anymore.. but is looked pretty weird at around iso200 i think.

but it doesnt take that much time to get used to taking raw only. you should try out lightroom 3 if you have not yet, it is really worth the money and easy to work with.
That was (and is) the major problem to me with NX10, and I hoped they would do something about it in NX100. Do you see (feel) they did it?
first use raw.. the samsung has a pretty bad jpeg engine..

Certainly, when they have a RAW converter for Mac.
