Hi All- I am using an Epson 785EPX, Olympus C2100 Camera, Epson
Premium Glossy paper, making the printer settings for all the
above. Why oh why do my prints come out with a reddish tone??? On
the monitor (yes I have calibrated it), everything looks fine, on
paper it looks like a red filter was used. TIA
sometimes the red hue indicates double profiling. did you try
prinnt out a photo with film factory or in computerless mode? did
you do a nozzle check and it showed all the nozzles were ok? you
usually do not have to clean the nozzles 5 times. Whenever I find
that my nozzle check is not good, the first thing I do is to remove
the offending ink tank (if the black nozzle check is not good I
remove the black cart, if one of the colors shows not good I just
remove the color) and reinstall the ink tank. These tanks are
chipped, they remember ink levels. It will do a prime after you
reinstall it, and after it is finished you can print out another
nozzle test to check it. I have found this method will clear up a
problem much faster than doing multiple cleanings. Sometimes it may
requiire 1 more cleaning, which I just do thru the print utilities
(same place as the nozzle check)
