It cost $508 from shopsunshine.com. They tried to sell me more stuff so I bought at $24 uv filter with the 55/52mm tube. I thought it went well overall. They also through in a bag/mini tripod/cleaning kit. I got a good camera. Happy with it.

bwayphoto.com are bait and switch artists, in my opinion anyway. I cancelled my order after alot of hassle from them.

....who used to be one of the biggest bait and switch mail order outifits for 35mm stuff back when they went by Broadway Photo. Online, i doubt if they have changed their practices any.......i'd be wary of them.

No problem in any case, but I think when a thread specifically asks for recommendations, then simply noting a price isn't good enough. And 'try' is a recommendation or misleading, otherwise he could simply have said 'bway have it at ...'.
But I do need correcting (nicely please)

Nah, not a mistake on your part, probably mine. Sorry about that. Reading it again, it does seem odd that he asks the question in one post and gives the recommendation in another. I guess I was just trying to be nice and give the guy the benefit of the doubt.

If I wanted "Days of Our Lives" I would turn on the TV.
I just bought the s602z FUJI from Digital Etailers.

Sorry for the uproar. I was just telling the price I found. After reading the posts about Broadway Photo I can only say sorry. I can't believe the New York attorney general hasn't put these guys out of business.
