I've only had my E-30 for about 6 months and I LOVE it!!! Upgraded from the e-500 then to the E-510 (which I still have)....
I've been reading how dissapointed everyone is with Olympus for not developing a sensor that can compete with some of the FF larger sensors by Canon and Nikon...
Compairing high ISO shots between my E-510 and E-30 and the E-30 does a much better job with noise than the E-510... Especially from ISO 800-3200... With the images I've seen from the E-5 it appears that the E-5 has improved detail and noise reduction from ISO 800-3200??? Why is everyone so dissapointed? Is a larger sensor better? Do you remember when the first main-frame computer came out and it took an entire room to house it... Now we have phones the size of a deck of cards that have more memory and more capabilities...
So, is bigger better? Is it possible that technology can produce just as good of results (12mp sensor combined with this new True-pick V)....
Anyways, all your input is appreciated..
Thanks, Garret
