Do I really understand photography?

When I get to the point that I can describe something that every reader will understand in the same way, I would say that means I have complete understanding. I have quite a way to go though. :)

I only use live view when the camera is bolted to something and the subject has no thoughts of leaving. It's fabulous for getting perfect focus and framing for things that aren't moving and cameras that aren't moving. For everything else, there's the viewfinder and autofocus.

Also, I don't like that my viewfinder is 95%. I can't seem to frame the shot exactly as I'd like.
