Hi,

Anyone using/know where to get a decent bag/gadget bag for the s602? Preferably a company in the UK? I see fuji do one but was hoping for something a bit cheaper.

Cheers

Use one of those new nylon "Hot/cold" lunch containers. Take out the pastic container inside. They work great with camera in the bottom and an extra flash in the upper compartment Cost about $10.00

http://www.lowepro.com They should have distributors in UK. I'm using a Nova 3 and a Micro trekker 200. Some friends (also with 602Zs) are using Orion Trekker and Nova 4.

I really like the bag that came as part of the Nikon Coolpack. The Coolpack includes the bag, a set of Nikon filters for Coolpix cameras, a set of rechargeable batteries, and a charger. I sold the filters at eBay and gave the batteries and charger to my sister. If you sell everything but the bag, the bag should cost you nearly nothing!

I have mine in a LowePro TLZ Mini. The camera and strap fit perfectly in the main compartment, spare cards in the pocket under the lid, and spare batteries in the front pocket. If you have any accessories--lens, flash, etc.--this configuration won't work (no room), but otherwise it's perfect.

The batteries are Sunpak 1800 MAh in their charger unit. Here in the US we can get a Sunpak set with two adapters: one for AC and the other for the car. So the charger unit (a box about the size of a Minolta Dimage X) goes in the LowePro, the AC adapter stays at home, and the car adapter goes in the glove box. Works very nicely.
