" Fall colors"

Just got back from a trip to Yosemite and the eastern Sierra's. While California is not especially known for it's foliage, if one looks hard enough it can be found. I was fortunate on my recent trip up north to find the foliage at it's peak. This was the first field trial for my D60 and I must say I was very pleased with the results. Obviously,I still have a lot to learn with this great "machine" but this trip showed me it has huge potential.

Now if some one would just tell me how to post images in here, I would be more than happy to share them with you.

I'm so bummed I didn't get up to VT in time this year, and my Upstate camping/photo trip got rained out all weekend.

Casio or whatever, these are very nice shots you posted. I think you would do well with just about any camera.

underneath the new message box is a +help/suggestions, click ont hat and it will tell you how to post images. They need to be on the web first.

Love your shot. As Diane said we don't have much color yet. I went to Pearsons falls today and took this. At jones gap yesterday there was virtually no color.

Here's a sample from my S20. We went to the arboretum last weekend, and this shot came out beautifully in print.

I agree with whole heartly there are far to many posts here in the "Canon SLR" Forum that should be at the "Samples & Galleries" I know it's a point of enthusiasm & happiness to want to share ones work ....BUT NOT HERE!!
