My brother is a world champion ....At Last....

Well following on from my previous fishing posts

i may or may not have said my brother has been in the top 10 world spey casting champions in the 18ft rod class for a few years now, well he got there in the end last weekend in Norway world championships with a winning cast of 59 metres

I wish i could have been there to take some shots but work comitments blew that.

This year he has won 2 major tournements, the CLA, and the world championships in Norway.

Here is one shot before the trip.

I don't know much....o.k., I don't know anything, about spey casting, other than I've heard of it. But being best in the world at your particular passion is certainly something to be very proud of. I can tell you are proud of him, as well you should be. Congratulations to your brother!

I had better in the shade with subtle fill flash but this is the shot he wanted for the local paper.

Silverware in direct sun no go, but the paper will be small probably B&W so no biggie.
