Very impressive Digby i like 2 and 3 the best. the last one looking down the middle dose it for me and the blues are a bit special great set of 3 glad your back.cheers lee
I like #2 best - the combination of metal and wood, contrasting colors plus the complex construction patterns all add up for a pleasing composition.
Who ever built that bridge, even made of wood meant for it to last.
Very nice images, Digby! I like the HDR effect on these. Each has its own appeal. No favorites, I like them all.
What are you using for the HDR effect?

Thanks doctordave, . It seems one must do ones best, some doctor round here keeps upping the standard, oblivious to those content with a less demanding pace. This forum just goes from strength to strength; the standard is getting very, very high. Life is wonderful!
The bridge is very busy with motor traffic each day, it shows the signs of many upgrades but the original aesthetic feel has wisely been kept.
Thanks Carol, I climbed a small retained dirt embankment, running along the bridge retaining wall, just wide enough for the tripod and I to get that view.
Thanks Pap. This time I used the commercial hdr software “Dynamic-Photo HDR”. The trick seemed to be pulling it back to where it was not too over done, being commercial it tries to be too dramatic - lots of control though.

Thanks Mike, Because there are 3 images the exif is often lost in the combining software, dpreview then adds the earliest date it is capable of recognizing.
