Came across this bunch of cows the other day whilst driving through some rural area. They all came running soon as I stepped out of the car.

Man ..that is such a vivid shot. Is it HDR?

Love it.

10 cents a Dance !

I like it !

Vjim ;)

No, not intentionally or by conventional HDR methods anyway. I processed from a single RAW file in LightZone. First I gave it a pass of the pre-set "CLARITY" mode and then a pass of the pre-set "CRISP" mode. With crisp mode I turned down the opacity to about halfway. Then I gave it a pass through the "POLARIZER" mode and turned down the opacity to about 1/4

Then I gave it a pass through "HUE and SATURATION" and increased vivid and luminious by 10%

Resized and then gave it a pass through selected sharpening turning down opacity to 50%.
Man ..that is such a vivid shot. Is it HDR?

thats a dairy herd, all looking for what humans usually bring, some feed in the form of hay or better yet, oats

they are curious animals and will investigate whatever new appears in their paddock.

photo of a cow, or cows. That's a classic. I got a good laugh out of it because that is
exactly how they are....really curious. Good shot!

Typical bovine mentality. Always looking for a handout. ;)

The processing works well with this shot.

Group Capt. Lionel Mandrake: I don't think they wanted me to say anything. It was just their way of having a bit of fun, the swines. Strange thing is they make such bloody good cameras.
