Just received my Canon s90 today and noticed a clicking sound that occurs when the camera is on and being moved around, especially in the direction of pointing towards the ceiling to pointing at the ground. I've come across the term "flex." I am completely new to this and was wondering if that is what it was, if all canon s90s have that sound, and if I should return it??

Thanks!

Mine does the same and after thousands of images I haven't had any problems.

"Flex" commonly refers to flexible printed circuit boards - it would make complete sense if there was one in the S90. Flex is one of the key technologies behind the first real Blackberries and the iPhone.

Sorry, i meant ive not heard it mentioned in relation to the S90 making a noise.
