New Z950 owner

Hi

Having recently read the review of the Z950 travel zoom camera on this site coupled with the fact that the 950 is at a bargain price I decided to take the plunge and buy one. I've been out and about with this camera for the past couple of weekends although the weather here hasn't been up to much.

Two of the pictures were taken in Chester and the other in LLangollen (North Wales). The colour abstract was actually painted on a life size plastic Hippo on display down by the river.

All the images are direct from the camera without any tweaking.

i have just noticed there are 3 men in the front of the train
i nearly missed the guy with the hat on leaning out of the window

Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm thinking of getting a z950. A few questions based on your experiences please:

1) How noticeable is the motor noise while zooming during video?
2) How well can it focus up close on small objects?

3) I've read alot about it being slow to process especially after taking 3 pictures in a row. What have been your experiences?

Hi,

Please check my flower photos. They were taken about 2-3 inches from the flower, w/o the zoom.

I don't hear any camera zoom noise in my videos.
