Not the best pictures but fall here in subtropical queensland is hard to find. this was May this year in our yard.
Can someone from Vermont post some pics I spent the best fall there in 1999 but no digi camera at that time

The isn't much color yet (about a week or so later than normal for the peaking). I shot these yesterday in the Avon/Simsbury CT area. Canon G2 w/Wide Angle Converter & Polarizing Filter.

Here's mine (Gatineau, Quebec). The leaves are now much more colourful than in this pic (taken about 2 weeks ago). I will be updating my galleries with some more colourful shots (hopefully). I missed a great opportunity last weekend as this long stretch of trees was ablaze in Fall colours with bright reds, deep orange and yellows.

Nice shot. Looks like a painting. The Kodak DC4800 was almost my first digicam before I bought the G2. At the time they were a bit harder to find. I like the 28mm wide angle lens and the colours are very nice.

No. I'm not a golfer. Knowing what I do about golf and me, I'd probably end up whacking my foot instead of the ball. I was just passing through the area, so I stopped for a few shots.
FORE!!! . . . BLOP . . . owwww!!! I realized after a few hits that my head was getting lumpy, so I left.

I think you've just described the majority of golfers
I remember the first year I took up the game. I stood over this one shot and whiffed the ball about 7 times. Thank goodness the people watching this spectacle were patient and understanding. I don't take the game seriouslyl. I play it for the exercise, scenery and fresh air. And picture op when I got the G2. Fore! Darn that slice.--Just kidding.
