Feel free to post your picts of flora - you know the alien species on our planet without legs (plants or parts thereof, trees, bushes, grasses, flowers, etc).

Also, if you have posted some flower or plants shots earlier and wish to put them here - feel free to do so. If they were taken last week, last year, or 10 years ago - who cares - show us what you have! Any camera any time.

May you find honor in respecting life.

Let the show begin!

Two pictures from this year. Both were taken on a e520 with the kit 14-42 lens.

First one is a red hibiscus taken in Carthage, Tunisia, camera jpg.

Second is (most likely) a veronica, found in Orsay, France. Picture is cropped from the original, minor cs5 tweaks during raw-> jpg conversion.

Just one that I took some time ago treated in Capture One , pls C&C.

Cheers

Last week, my wife and I were in Ontario, Canada. In Toronto we visited a somewhat misplaced medieval castle called Casa Loma, built by an industrialist (who later went belly-up) in the early 20th century. The gardens there were magnificent! Here is the one pic that I've gotten to thus far - maybe by next Sunday I'll have more available.

Very spongy walk for the most part except for some rocky areas
The permafrost is about 18 - 24 inches below the surface

Moss like plants are very much like coral, the dead part serves as "dirt" for the live part to grow on
