  • RULES FOR VOTING:
1. To vote, members should perform a "follow-up (reply)" on this
main post. That is: "Challenge 3 - VOTING - Divergence.

2. Each member can use up to three votes. Each member can
distribute these three votes in which ever way they wish. For
example, a member might want to distribute one vote each to three
different photos of equal liking, place all three votes onto one
photo, or place two votes on one photo and one on another.

3. The title (subject) of the "follow-up (reply)" message MUST
CONTAIN THE NAME (NICKNAME) OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE PHOTO YOU
WISH TO ALLOCATE YOUR VOTES. For example, if you would like to vote
for three different pictures, place all three names in the title
(subject). If you would like to place two votes for one picture and
one vote for another, then you would place "JOHN x 2, SMITH" in the
titile (subject).

4. Absolutely no follow-ups/replies containing comments/suggestions
should be made in this post ""Challenge 3 - VOTING - Divergence".

If you wish to add some comments on the reason behind your votes,
please put it in the "Message" area of your voting thread. The
"Subject" area of the voting thread should ALWAYS contain the
name/s of your votes.

5. Members cannot vote for their own photo!

6. Votes received before or after the voting period will not be
counted.

If I have missed anything out, please let me know.

Good luck everyone!

The reason for my votes were that I felt that these photos brought out the best qualities of black and white photography. In other words, the subjects in these photos were made to be taken in black and white.

Hi,

Due to Dave (Blend43), and myself both being out this morning, the voting is closing a little late.

I will close it off in about 45 mins.

So if you still have to vote, do so ASAP. :-)

Yours sincerely,
Michael Offe,
South Australia.

Another hard Challenge to vote on! :-)

Very good entries from all of you (once again)!

Other entries that I had on my short list included...
Asya Schween,
Darryl Keffer,
Cathy,
Filski,
Maria Mendez,
Christian Bargholz Juul,
Kate Malone.

For some reason the three I decided on were all buildings! :-)

Yours sincerely,
Michael Offe,
South Australia.

Voting for this Challenge has now closed. Challenge 5 will start soon.

Sorry for the delay in closing this off... I ended up watching a programme on TV about the Bay to Birdwood (the largest Vintage and Veteran car and vehicle rally in the world), which we were in this year with a 1942 WLA Harley and Sidecar. We were shown on the programme too! :-)

All the best to all of you who entered this Challenge - the results will be posted soon.

Yours sincerely,
Michael Offe,
South Australia.
