A new place for me in the local countryside. A bit of a scramble, but worth the effort!

D80 with kit 18-135mm, polariser, tripod and lots of cloud!

Comments much appreciated.

Thanks guys!!!

That's a better response than I've had on Nikon foum! LOL :D

Why didn't I buy Canon? Doh!

Canon boys aren't used to shots of this quality :-)

Just joking!

Very nice pics. Is the exposure the same as it was on location?
Thanks guys!!!

Lovely shots. Especially like the balance of the last pic.

Well done.

Hi rocen,

Thanks for the comment.

The waterfall is SOOC.

Others were 3 bracketed shots at + - 2EV and fused in PM. Not HDR-ed!!!

These pics are simply beautiful. I understand that you shot these with your Nikon. I hope I can get the equivalent quality from my new Canon T2i. I know you posted in the wrong forum, but I'm glad you did! Great shots!

we can give praise when it's due, regardless of system or incorrect posting without resorting to silly slanging contests.

Lovely shots, they were a pleasure to look at, even though they're in the wrong forum.

What can I say...

I'm astonished by the kind remarks here. many thanks to all you Canon guys for the kind comments on my witless posting! Thank you all.

Anyone want to buy a Nikon! :)

Dermis - who cares whether you use a Canon or a Nikon. It's all photography. If you like it here - pull up a chair! :)

Thanks Drew that's very kind of you. I might just do that. My post to the Nikon forum is now fading into oblivion! but here it's still alive.
