I think that's case, the sample image I show is from FF, I shoot both Canon and Nikon but I don't have Nikon crop body any more so for crop sensor I tested it with the canon T2i with a lens adapter, with the same setting I didn't see that problem, and I can see exactly same issue on both the D3 and the 1DSMk2, I will test it on my 1D MK2 which is only 1.3X crop not FF to see if it will catch that problem later when I have tiime.
