Browsing the internet I found a very nice camera bag. It's made of fine Italian leather and has the exact retro/ stylish look I really like.

The standard bag comes without padding but there's an exact fitting Domke insert for that:

You can order these bags on the .com site or the .co.uk site:

Does anyone have experience with this particular bag? Advise on similar quality leather camera bags is off course also very welcome.

I really want a bag like this for my K-x and my 3 M-lenses (and DA40) and AF360 flash unit.

I found that camera case to be a good alternative to a bag which I never liked anyway. Just me...

Could be connected to a belt, which I consider to be very handy on hikes.

They are not cheap, but they are handsome and should last forever. They have cases for your Pentax and you can also order a special hood if you need to protect a long/big lens.

that is a nice looking bag, but I find it very small and not functional without the padding. finish and leather quality seems ok, but what I do not like it's the bag shape and design... the side attached pockets don't look that useful for storage of anythink I can think of, except batteries...

my favorite bag in this class is this one, actually a traditional french farmers food bag, but fits modern dSLR gear very well! ;) you can order it at manufactum.de

OK, I couldn't resist it anymore and ordered the Grafea leather camera bag and the Domke FA-240 insert last Sunday.

It arrived today:

It smells soo nice, real quality leather rules!

Draga, thank you. I was thinking of getting a Billingham but it may have to be this one. I can't find it on that site though, do you have an exact URL?

Thanks

It looked good but lacked any zipped compartments, I thought I would be kissing my F remote goodbye very quickly. Did like the old school style, fortunately popped into a little camera shop which had a pile of camera bags under the stairs. I found 10 Roots Safari SLR bags, and at £20 each I couldn't resist a couple.

Perfect for WWII days at the local preserved steam line. Will hold (just) K20D with DA*16-50 mounted & a DA*300.

When you are at the site, click on "Schuhe und Lederwaren", then on "Taschen". You will find this bag on the second page.
