22mp E-1

I am guessing that many of your students have also not seen the night sky full of starts without light pollution getting in the way. This is also a revelation to many who see it for the first time as young adults. I am not a city person, and these pictures demonstrate why. Thank you for your statements and I am pleased my photos have planted some thoughts of a different sort of adventure in your student's minds. May this lead them to explore the world sooner rather than later.

Best,
Seth

Time? I don't know. If hand held like the last one, probably 4-5 seconds total for 3-4 shots. On a tripod, maybe 5 seconds per shot.

Best,
Seth

Indeed. Those that live in the countryside have no guarantee either - the remote mountains are about the only place.

Thankfully, most students are receptive to new ideas and many teachers, me included, try to encourage them to have a can-do attitude, rather than dwelling on the often trotted out "In China we can't." I point them to examples of Chinese people I have met who have and do!
