I just spent 5 mins typing in an apology for getting up peoples' noses but it seems it went astray, or was it blocked?. Anyway, I am on my knees to all of you who felt offended/upset or just generally fed up with my comments. So, in the event of my original apology not turning up, here I go again. I apologise unreservedly for my childish behaviour and to all those people who have sent replies, thanks for the tete a tete and I look forward to helping some and being helped by others in the future. Thanks for the anticipated leniency in not having my lenses inserted in my own personal darkroom.
Can I get up now cos my knees are killing me.

I presume this is in relation to your put-downs of TeleExtender users. You were being kind of a jerk, though I didn't read more than 6 or 8 replies. I use a 1.4x on occassion, but didn't feel personally offended.

But, it does take a decent person to apologize when he comes to understand the offense against others.

You're absolved, AFAIC.

I never use them really, the FD one isn't a Canon anyway, mores the pity, and anyway, now the D60 will be my main camera, I guess it will be stored away with all my other antiques. Until I get an f 2.8 the EOS will stay in it's box too.

who cares what everyone thinks........especially in cyber world..........this is a talk forum, town hall, or whatever.
if they're weren't any jerks around, then it would be completly boring.

it's good to use proper ediquette when talking on the net, but some people speak differently than others...........that's what makes the world go around. furthermore, some take this place way too serious.
don't worry about it...........
just think before you speak!!
