Simpson Desert 'scapes

With a few friends and family I've just had a bit of a look at the Simpson Desert in central Australia. (For Aust members familiar with the area, southern desert via WAA line, back northern desert via Madigan line, Geosurvey's Hill and out along the Hay river track and Lake Caroline.)

I used the K7, bigma, Tammy 17-50, DA12-24.

A banded lapwing tries on the "broken wing" ploy to lure me away from her nest.

Love the diagonals of the clouds and sand dune. Could you muck around with that one a bit in pp?

What remarkable captures mate! The whole series is excellent but your two shots of the birds are Audubon quality. Nice work!
