Canon 5D Mk. II - refurb

Is it worth buying a refurbished Canon 5D Mk. II from Adorama, or should I spend the extra $300 + - for a new body? Thanks for the input!

Adorama includes their own one year warranty but they must do the work themselves along with the many other camera brands and lenses that they warranty! For $300 I would got for the Canon warranty assuring a ready supply of Canon parts in stock and at least a minimum of Canon training and Canon quality control.
You don't know what you will get from Adorama.

I bought my 5D (original model) from Adorama as a factory refurb three years ago and couldn't be happier with it. It was a Canon factory refurb (white box) that looked and preformed as brand new, came with everything a new one has, and had a 90 day Canon warranty. I supplemented the warranty with a Mack one but haven't needed to use it. At that time the price difference was about $500, less the Mack warranty, so it was worth it for me.

A refurb is NOT a used camera. Adorama distinguishes between used and refurb. It's merely a camera that had to be repackaged for some reason outside of mainstream production. Buying refurb is a GREAT way to save money... unless you just have to have the standard production box.

I bought a refurb 5D2 from Adorama and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.
