I am planning to buy a new digital camera.

I am interested in only Cannon Brand and point and shoot cameras. So I need some of your helpful and expert suggestions.
I am looking for latest ones - dont mind the price.

I have shortlisted few of them, here are they:
PowerShot S90
PowerShot SX210 IS
PowerShot SD4000 IS
PowerShot SD3500 IS

(or any other model which is good)

Would appreciate if you guyz can help me out in deciding which one is the best based one the performance and picture quality, day night modes etc.

Thanks again

I would suggest either the S90 or the G11 - both have generally superior image quality, and offer more flexibility in what you can do with them.

I agree with these recommendations. If you want Canon, it depends on the size and use:

Best ultra-compact - S90

Best compact - G11

Best super zoom - SX20 IS

Best rugged camera - D-10

I have also read good reviews about S90. It was just that sd4000 and 3500 were kind of new model so was confused whether to go for some new technology or not.
Also how much technical and image quality difference could there be.
And I have also read touch screen is not that good in those sd4000/3500.
How are the night shots woth sd90 if anyone has taken any.

Thanks

Your question is easy, really.

If you want a truly pocketable camera, small enough to fit even your jeans pockets, go for the S90 .

If you don't mind a bit bigger camera, marginally better in some areas, go for the G11 .

Whichever you choose, you won't make a mistake. It's that easy.

Thanks for your replies.
Can anyone tell me about the quality night shots of this camera S90.
Most of the users posted(or I found) were day shots.

For a compact camera , low light photography is as good as it gets, really. Like I said, S90 is THE best ultra-compact camera at the moment (at least in my opinion).

Ability to shoot RAW allows you a lot to work with when it comes to noise.

I mean, you have thousands of examples all over the internet and even this great site. Do some search and you'll see for yourself.

Here are some examples from a member here. I think his photography is truly amazing and you'll be able to see what this little bugger is capable of:
