Full frame holga D in possible development

Interesting concept, but I doubt you could build a full frame or even an APS sensor camera cheap enough to justify such a niche product, especially when you can simply adapt plastic lenses to normal cameras (I created a plastic lens for my Panasonic G1 by dismantling a disposable camera and taping the lens to a body cap)

This is simply a concept. I don't think the designer is in any way associated with Holga.
Yep just an idea, a FF sensor would cost several hundred dollars, then put out in a simple plastic box with little or no control....

The images of the Holga D were created in Abobe Illustrator or a similar vector image maker-they're not photos there is no prototype nor will there be one IMHO.
Even the sample images are 'simulations'

Part of the Holga aesthetic is poor quality plastic lenses no control P&S, that rely on the wide latitude of neg film for exposure.
I don't think it makes economic sense, just someone's dream.

BTW if you want to use digital for this type of thing why not try a lens baby? not quite the same but will still give you a plastic lens look.

I love where they call the image sensor "last generation", why use the newest components? :D

I would love a FF camera like that! But I feel sorry for anyone trying to work those ISO and shutter speed buttons! :-)
