I'm interested in focal length and shutter speed and how far you were (roughtly I guess) from the subject?

"Extemporaneously"! Thank you for teaching me new English word.
Actually I took this picture totally extemporaneously! I came to Molcton,
New Brunswick (Canada) to see biggest in the world tidal bore (up to 6-8 feet
according to my encyclopedia) not her Majesty, but I was stopped by crowds
in downtown.
Unfortunately I had very little space left on my memory card. I took only several
pictures. Few seconds later Prince Philip was standing only 5 meters from me, but I had no time to change my memory card.
BTW, tidal bore was only 2 inches tall. I was very disappointed.
