Your fantasy deepens. My first response to your ridiculous "can't afford" comment said nothing about a netbook. Rather, it addressed your comment directly.

My netbook mention only came in when your buddy, Mr. Blur came in with his statements about including and charging for unwanted things and only then did I use the example of my netbook to say that ASUS is not a nickle and diming company; nothing to do with "different platforms for different needs".
Well, maybe you're not bitter and angry, but you sure don't sound happy. Why not just let people pick the consumer device of their choice without trying to convince them that you make better choices? Apple's customers are happy, Apple is very happy. I hope your choices will eventually make you happy too.
If I sound unhappy to you, you have a deeper fantasy than I can imagine. The fact that I countered your "If you can't afford $29 for a cable adapter/SD card reader, you certainly can't afford a $500 iPad" statement does not indicate any unhappiness. It's not about affording.

I'm not even unhappy with that ridiculous statement, but I do like to express my thoughts on it. It's call Open Talk.

How about you live how you preach.
Apparently, preaching happiness makes you angry.

You do not preach happiness, you apparently refuse to believe we who do not own a iPad can be happy. As your only reason to be happy is owning a Ipad then to you I will appear unhappy.

Did your camera come with a case?
Some did; My Leica IIIf came with a beautiful leather everyready case with the front flap to fit the Summrit f/1.5 lens. Also my Rolleiflex came with a deluxe custom flip down case. Both are now in my display case. The Leica case shows heavy use, but the Rolleiflex case is pristine.

Also my 2 Konica 35mm film cameras came with leather everyready cases but they are not on display. Even one of my early compact digital cameras came with soft pocketable pouch.
Mine didn't. I guess Nikon and Canon are fleecing their customers.
Whether they are fleecing their customers depends on the relative pricing for comparable products and the profit margin on the item. That was my basis of mentioning that my inexpensive ($299) ASUS netbook came with a very nice case.

So by the end of the year will Jobs support Flash?

No, likely not, because Mr. Jobs doesn't want any free content access. He wants it all through ITunes, and that's what the argument is about. Flash is about free content.

And what will Jobs stupid decision do? Increase the Android market, decrease the Mac market and send Mr. Jobs, once again, the message that authoritarianism doesn't work in the Open versus Mac market.

IPads will become small potatoes in the scheme of things (just as Macs were in the 80's-90's) and fade into obscurity. No reason for a web site like this to support a temporary fad.
That's why Apple is the number one recognized brand in the world...not US...world. And why their stock has risen from $38 in 2004 to over $270 today. What was that about small potatoes again?

Flash is a bloated resource hog of an application, and this view is held by a variety of sources, not just Jobs. With the intro of HTML5, Flash is going by way of the dinosaur, and Jobs, along with many others, just happen to agree.

Sounds like the ASUS is right for you. But I need/want to be able to write documents by hand, make drawings for illustrating solutions to problems on my mobile device, and be able to fly X-wing and participate in auto racing games without having to use a mouse or cursor keys.

Likewise for you, it sounds like your iPad suits your needs. Great.

However, my comment that you quoted and, apparently, keyed your response to is just an answer to Mr. Blur's question if I thought Nikon and Canon were fleecing their customers by not providing a case with the purpose price.

Very simply, I upload / process whatever pics onto my PC, then use a program called dropbox to take my pics wherever I go.
I also have the photo adapter for on the go transfers.

The iPad also reads Raw, and NEF files.

I happen to like the iPad. It's a nice compromise to carrying a laptop.
