Bride + Groom for Retouch

Hi Alan,
Thank you for comments + edit.
Haha as for the Barber business yeah it seems to be the Fashion here :)
Cheers
Ray
A very nice photo of a lovely couple. . . It looks like you and the groom use the same barber!

Thanks for the play, congratulations and best wishes to the groom and his beautiful bride.

That's a good trick Mr. Bolzano. :) So sorry...my mind is in the gutter!

Regards, Mike
i got to say that he needs to lose the ear ring but i did not clone it out... if he wants it, its there... I added a few layers - light, s/h/sharp, white balance, did a bit of denoise and a bit of changes .... First is a GIF file so you see the difference between the SOOC and mine, and then is the actual edited image.... I worked off your jpg as I am a bit in a rush and just wanted to play a bit... Hope all is well with you and yours ! Ciao my friend !
Here is the GIF....

and here is the image....

I worked from a new layer, changed the mode to Multiply, and lightly erased (opacity set at about 35%) the darker portions from the bride and grooms face, arms and clothing.

Just trying to see what it would look like by having that separation of lighting between the background and the foreground subjects.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the detailed workflow although I still haven't a clue what you mean :) :)
Mike me + P/Shop Literature are not compatable ;)

I do see what you mean about the separation of lighting + your edit looks good. Thank you.
Cheers
