As mentioned....if new...it's a good deal.
This ZS3 is very versitile,with it's zoom range.
Not as good,in low light,as your LX3...but pretty good.

I am looking at a ZS3 for sale, $250. I know nothing about it other than what you say here. Is that a good price?

Another set of great shots. My favourites are Mr. Bee, liizard and rose. Also NYC skyline great and a little nostaligic - 3 visits to NYC and always stayed at the New Yorker.

Like you, I also enjoy my ZS3 and ZR3 cameras. I was initally a bit disappointed at the indoor pictures of ZR3. But I figured that it can do better indoors if EV, ISO and flash modes are used properly.
ZS3 is still better camera to me overall, but ZR3 is very handy to carry around and can take nearly as good pictures very often.
