Just thought I would share this with you. I needed a small dslr camera bag to bring my dslr, couple lens, etc. to the beach. Purchased a great bag at filterhouse.com. It was $15.00 no tax, free shipping. (So, I purchased two). It holds my D300s with the 70-300mm lens on it plus two other lenses, has two outside pockets for accessories and an outside zipper pocket also for accessories. It is neat and trim, not bulky and the price can't be beat!!! Comes in red and blue. If you want to check it out just go to filterhouse.com and click on slr camera bags. They have a larger version too for $18.00 but this size was perfect for me.

Thanks for the great tip.

I'm guessing this bag (like many cheap bags) will come with a poor (i.e. uncomfortable) strap.

In that case, buy an Op/Tech S.O.S. Strap as a replacement. They are superb neoprene straps; I've bought several for various camera bags and non-camera bags and they were worth every penny.

Those that already use the excellent Op/Tech camera straps will understand...

Not saying its poor quality or you "get what you pay for." For $18 (in my case) one cannot expect much. I already have two backpacks so didn't need anything great - just something to hold my camera and a couple accessories when I go shooting dusing the day.

Just curious as to whether any purchaser has received their bag. They have definitely taken my money as my credit card has been charged. I have heard no word as to shipping. More than likely it will come by USPS since shipping was free. But to date - no tracking info or acknowledgement as to being shipped.

Guess I get to answer my own question - if anybody cares.

No more had I hit the ""Post" button and FEDEX was at my door. My bag just arrived. Is it worth $18 including shipping? You bet. Even tho I got the large bag, I would prefer it to be a bit larger. But it will definitely hold my D2h with 70-300mm lens. Comes with three inserts, a front-flap zippered pocket, and a back velcro pocket. One of the inserts has a cutout ("U" shaped) to cradle the camera lens.

Bottom line - I am well satisfied. A decent camera strap would cost more than this bag.

Hope the rest got their bags and are happy.

I don't usually make recommendations, so I was beginning to regret that I suggested purchasing this camera bag.

My second one arrived and I am still very happy with it. I have Lowepro, Tamrac, and Katia bags so I know my camera bags! Currently, the first one I received contains my D300s, 16-85mm (on camera), 70-300mm, 35 1.8 G and SB-400 flash (plus, extra battery, blower). This bag is not as "boxy" as my other camera bags, makiing it easier/sleeker for me to carry it around.

Its true, and I guess I should have mentioned that the company does not send tracking info - but it does showup on your doorstep one day. I purchased camera filters from the company in the past and receive their email newsletter, which had the camera bag(s) advertised in it.

Anyway, I know it is only a camera bag, but I'm glad you are satisfied with it.

Not to worry. I would definitely not blame you for the recommendation on the bag. I went in with my eyes open. It is definitely worth the money. For $18 including no tax and no shipping, one simply cannot complain. As I stated, you cannot buy a lonely camera strap for that price.

Thanks for the great tip.

Now the rest of you go out and buy one and help the econmy. It is a great day trip bag. Simply place your camera, lens, flash, batteries, memory cards, etc. and go shoot. Better than lugging a big backpack for just a few hours of shooting.

I've got bigger bags (2) and smaller bags (one) but only one bag that holds the body plus three lenses, and it is a belt pack that is pretty darn uncomfortable with that much weight in it. So I bought one....as you say, for $15 how wrong can you go? While I was at it I added one for my daughter....different color than mine, natch. Thanks for the tip....never heard of these guys before.

A quad of NIkon bodies | All the glass I need| Manfrotto pods and clamp system| Enough software to still be only half-way up the learning curve

For those of you that bought the Large bag ($15)... Just trying to confirm that it will

comfortably fit a D200 w/lens. Maybe I'm looking at the size wrong, but it appears to be too narrow to fit the camera in (lens down I guess) ??? I must be wrong based on some of your comments, but just wanting to make sure. I'd like to get a smallish bag that still is able to hold the D200 with a medium zoom mounted and spare lens or 2.

Thanks - Mike

Yes, the $15.00 bag holds my D300s with a lens on, & two other lenses - one smaller lens (either the 50mm or 35 mm I also put my small sb400 flash on top of). I purchased two this size (one is kept at vacation home). Starting to think I should buy a larger one too) just in case I feel like bringing everything I own) but I'll use one of my existing camera bags for that.

You really can't go wrong.
