Hello,
Sorry for my english, but I'm Italian and I learned French at school :-(
I just received my new s2pro with a 256 Compact Flash PQI

I have some problems with that combo (I hope it's a problem with the CF ;.), because I'm losing a very high number of pictures

When I shoot I see the pic on LCD, but when the camera goes in sleep mode and I try to see the images, I don't see the pic
I shoot 20 pict and in my card there are only 4
Any suggestion?
It's seem that there is a problem of recording...
Maybe it's a problem of incompatibility card?
Txk

PS I hope that using a wrong or incompatible card the s2 don't crash...

Preview mode seems to be a common problem.. Lots of people (including myself) have done this..

One quick suggestion/warning. I would avoid the PQI cards in future. They are very inexpensive cards, but I can tell you that there are a number of camera's and other devices they will not work in (D100, G2, MP3 player). For a compariable price and far better performace you should be able to find Ri-Data cards...

Marco
Marco;
That was going to be my guess. The preview mode is hard to use.
You get so involved taking photos you forget to look at the screen.
And I think it wastes a lot of battery power.
Have a good time with your new "toy"

Were do you live in Italy? We'll be in Tuscany and Rome for the middle two-weeks of November
Ciao;
